Sports Clubs

Clubs are subject to change. Whilst we endeavour to ensure all clubs run to timetable there  are times when clubs need to be rescheduled or cancelled. Any cancellations or changes will be posted on the Notices tab in the Sports section.

We hope that the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games have inspired our students to get involved in extra-curricular sports clubs. Here is a time-table of what the PE and other school staff will offer this half-term. Every half-term we offer new sports and activities as well as offering the same sports and activities to other year groups. All clubs are free with a few exceptions. They take place from 3.30-4.30/4.45pm. Students do not need to sign up, just turn up. These clubs are primarily designed to be fun, offering students the opportunity to try new sports or participate further in sports or activities they have been introduced to in PE lessons. Most clubs also provide opportunities for competitive matches, tournaments and events against other schools. These are a stepping stone to joining local clubs where more intensive coaching and competitive experiences are provided.
